There are lots of names that Petrochemicals are disguised as but they are all made from the same thing. Fossil Fuels, the same as what you fill your car up with ....

Would you put that on your face??? I don’t think you’d want too! It’s toxic!!! ⚠️ And it has no benefits to your skin whatsoever!

At Tropic we never use Petrochemicals in our products because it has no value to the health of your skin.
With us it’s always skin health first! We never cut corners or costs to bring you the best ingredients that you deserve!

So why do a lot of brands use this in their products? Because it’s cheap.
It's the by-product left over in the tank after they've heated up the crude oil and produced fuel. They then sell it off cheap to consumers, stick it in products and change its name! Some not so changed "petroleum jelly" is what you know as Vaseline 🤢

And don’t be fooled by thinking big brands don’t do this, it’s not just cheap brands!

Did you know that you should be applying SPF throughout the year?....

Including winter!!! 🥶

It might seem strange when the skies are grey and the cold has set in, but our skin is still susceptible to sun damage. Time to grab that Sun Day, stat!

Sun damage can't always be seen, as you can see in this picture, this lady will eventually see the sun damage as the years go on but for now, without this image taken by a skin analyser machine, she would live unaware!

That’s why I’m so passionate about taking care of it and giving it the love it deserves.

I chat all the time to people who don’t particularly have a routine - or have no idea where to start, so let me help you!

Firstly you need to establish what your skin goals are… what is it that you want to achieve with your skin! Is your skin dull, dry, combination, blemishes, pigmentation… establishing what the issues are with your skin will help you when choosing your products!

Have patience… don’t expect miracles from skincare. It takes time for your skin to adapt, Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither was clear skin!! Putting stress and pressure on yourself also set you back, there’s so many factors that affect our skin, hormones, stress, environment, diet… so it takes a while to adapt!

Consistency is KEY!! And this calls for everything in life. You have to get a skincare routine and use it daily to be able to see any form of result, just like you would have to go to the gym for several weeks to see a change with your body! It’s exactly the same.

When starting in skincare, less is more… you do not need to be going in with serums, eye creams, masks, exfoliators. It’s far too much for your skin to manage at once!
Starting with a basic cleanser toner moisturiser routine will get your skin used to a routine and used to the products!

This relaxing seated holistic treatment focuses on not just head but neck, back, shoulders and scalp along with feather touch over the face making it much more than just a head massage!
Stimulates and improves lymphatic drainage and blood flow to the neck bringing you relief from stress and can free knots and soothe away muscular tension. The head, neck and shoulders are very important energy centres within your body. Hair Smooth Radiance Oil is silicone-free, with a beautiful scent that’s citrussy but anchored with cedarwood. Can be used in many ways, we would be massaging it into your dry hair before scalp massage which will help to remove any product residue - you can then leave it in until you get home before washing out.
