After working as a physiotherapist for 25 years I began to consider that there was more to pain than just a physical cause. After some research I discovered John F Barnes Myofascial Release. An alternative treatment with a more holistic approach. Over the past 5 years I have traveled to America where I have trained extensively with John to achieve ‘Expert Level Practitioner’ in Myofascial Release Treatment. Through this tranining I have learnt that ‘Emotions’ can also be held in the tissue of the body, causing physical symptoms i.e. Pain. Therefore, the treatment needs to be more holistic rather than just treating the symptoms alone. I use this method to treat low back pain, neck pain, joint pain, fibromyalgia and other chronic pain syndromes.
