💥 LOW BACK PAIN 💥
So Saturday I hurt my back.
Went into a tackle, felt it go…you know yourself.
First thought?
Ah here we go… this is me out for a while.
So what did I do?
I didn’t panic, and I didn’t lie flat doing nothing either.
For the first day or two, it was sore.
So I kept things easy: bit of walking, changed positions often.
Then I started moving it gently with a couple of simple exercises. Avoiding pain, encouraging movement.
Just enough to tell my back it’s safe to move again.
Because 99% of the time with back pain like that, it’s not serious damage.
It’s more like your body going into protection mode.
If you stop moving completely, it just gets stiffer, sorer, and more sensitive.
So what worked for me?
Kept moving, even when it was a bit uncomfortable
Didn’t push into sharp pain
Built it back up over a few days
And now? Near enough back to normal.
You don’t need perfect rest.
You don’t need to “click something back in”.
You just need to get it moving again—gradually.
If your back’s just gone and you’re panicking, save this.
If this happens to you regularly, or isn’t settling after a day or two, give us a call… we’ve been there!
