Building a belief is exciting. As we navigate through life we all have dreams and aspirations. So why can it be so difficult to build on those dreams?
Blocking beliefs can be internal and external.
So this means that we can THINK and feel emotional, OR there may be practical things that block us from moving forward.
Some typical blocking beliefs:
đź§ Internal Blocks (Mindset & Emotions)
1. Fear of Failure Worrying about making mistakes or not succeeding.
2. Perfectionism - Feeling like everything must be perfect before starting.
3. Lack of Clarity – Not knowing exactly what steps to take.
4. Overwhelmed – Feeling like there’s too much to do, leading to paralysis.
5. Procrastination – Delaying tasks due to fear, boredom, or lack of urgency.
6. Lowered Self-Confidence – Doubting your ability to succeed.
7. Fear of Judgment – Worrying about what others will think.
8. Lack of Motivation – Not feeling inspired or driven to take action.
🌿 External Blocks (Circumstances & Environment)
1. Lack of Resources – Not having enough time, money, or knowledge.
2. Distractions – Social media, emails, or other interruptions.
3. Toxic Environment – Negative influences from people around you.
4. Competing Priorities – Other responsibilities taking up time and energy.
The first step to building on your beliefs is to recognise your blocks.
Sometimes these blocks can be heavier depending on our early life experiences.
Without realising, you may have carried internal heavy blocks for longer than you think.
Blocks that are really THOUGHTS like:
'I am not good enough'
'I am a failure'
'I am inferior'
The thing about these blocks is that they feel like we believe them.
Remember that you don't have to keep carrying blocks to beliefs, and dreams are easier to achieve with a lighter load.
✨ You ARE good enough and you are worth SO much.
✨ You are allowed to try and you are allowed to make mistakes.
✨ You never fail, you just change course.
Remind yourself of your dreams. They are possible with belief and action together. ❤️
