An early start, a freezing Dunkeld platform at 7.30am… but so worth it.
Yesterday I was in Edinburgh for Beautiful Mind – an event exploring mental health and neurodiversity.
The mind is like an artist, painting with a palette of genetic, environmental and epigenetic messages. Every brush stroke shapes our perception, health and wellbeing.
Just as no two paintings are the same, none of us experience life in exactly the same way. That’s the richness of diversity – but also the challenge when it comes to anxiety, depression and neurodivergence.
It left me reflecting: in a world where “normal” is so narrowly defined, what do we really mean by pathology? And how can we better support those who don’t fit the mould?
I’ll be diving into my notes and bringing new strategies into my practice to support clients through nutrition and lifestyle.
And yes… I love any excuse to head into the big city.
Thanks BioCare for such a brilliant event.
