🚨Yoga Myth: You’re Only Good at Yoga If You Can Do the Most Complex Poses
✨SO Busted!✨Yoga isn’t about mastering the hardest poses—it’s about awareness, strength, and balance in your body. Flexibility and advanced postures come with time (if that’s even your goal), but true progress is measured by how present and connected you feel.
Even advanced yogis can have a tough workout doing the most basic poses. Yoga is about constant growth—going deeper, refining alignment, and challenging ourselves in new ways. It doesn’t have to be an arm balance to push your limits!
What’s a pose that always challenges you?

About Marina

I have been practising Yoga for over twenty years and teaching part-time for over ten years.

By 2000 I had been thrown a number of curve-balls by life and used Yoga and Holistic Treatments as a tool to help me manage and navigate my own path in life and I was inspired by my yoga teacher at the time to train as a yoga teacher.

I spent a year travelling round the world from 2000 to 2001, during which I completed my intensive 200 hours of teacher training at the beautiful Sivananda Ashram in Kerala, India. I teach Sivananda yoga which is a classical style of yoga.
