Inflammed skin barrier and acne prone skin

A combination of Hormones, diet and digestive issues often had me dread the winter months as my skin would become so sensitive.

Our skin is the biggest organ we have and it faces the elements everyday rain, hail, snow and sun

What we put in our bodies aswell as what we put on our skin can effect skin integrity

First image shows an inflammed broken barrier, sensitivity and acne breakouts. Scrubs, creams active ingredients done nothing but irritate the skin more.

Stepping back the skincare routine and using wash, moisturiser and spf daily along with lite refresh peels allowed the skin barrier to repair before using anything harsh

Adding in to improve healing, acne and texture then stepping up to presription skin care has allowed the skin to heal and face the elements without the same harsh reaction.

This is a Journey

Personal thoughts!

Antiwrinkle will always be the GOAT

However, not everyone loves it and we offer some other alternatives to boost skin and help the aging process.

When we reach our 30s we start to notice small signs of aging and antiwrinkle alone may not help you need to think of the whole face and neck

Most products we offer are a 10/10

But they have to be used in the right person

Example polynucleotides in skin which is severely dehydrated and sun damaged isn't going to hydrate and rebuild collagen as well as a skin booster or skinpen

One trestment usually doesn't fit all and usually a combination is required

A new mummy at 28

📍My skin reacted post pregnancy, and I suffered from acne- mainly on my forehead and lower face

📍My skin was dull and oily, and my pores were enlarged. I had lost weight quickly after having the baby and was not tired in person, but I looked tired.

📍We trained in aesthetic medicine at this time, and it sparked my love for skin and ageing

📍Fast forward 9 years, now 37, and another baby

What Is Sculptra?

Sculptra® is an injectable treatment with the active ingredient poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA).

Unlike traditional dermal fillers that immediately “fill” a wrinkle or contour, Sculptra works gradually by stimulating your skin to renew its collagen framework.

When done properly, results can last up to two years (or in some cases beyond) as new collagen builds and integrates. 👌 👏

A helpful mnemonic often used in Sculptra protocols is the “555 Rule”:

5 minutes: approximate time to inject each vial (depending on area and volume)

5 days: you should massage the treated zones for 5 minutes, 5 times per day, to ensure even dispersion of the product

5 months: by this point, the full effect of new collagen formation tends to become apparent

This aftercare is critical — skipping or doing it poorly could compromise how the PLLA integrates, potentially leading to lumps or irregularities.
