The National Collaborative’s Charter of Rights for People Affected by Substance Use was launched on 11 December 2024 with the support of Scottish Government and the First Minister of Scotland; the Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care; the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) and a range of international and local experts in Human Rights, Drug and Alcohol Policy. This video captures some of the launch footage and reflections, hopes and commitments made by a range of delegates on the day.
