✨ Recognition where recognition is due ✨

Today I had the absolute pleasure of presenting Lorraine, Stephen and Marc-Anthony with their well deserved treats after successfully completing their Ardnahein Accolade Cards 👏💚

Our Accolade Cards are all about recognising those moments where staff go above and beyond for our residents, families and each other, showing dedication, kindness, teamwork and the true Ardnahein spirit every single day.

Lorraine, Stephen and Marc-Anthony should all be incredibly proud of themselves. Thank you for everything you do to help make Ardnahein such a warm, green and connected home from home 🏡💚

Our lovely residents at Ardnahein Care are looking for donations of wool for knitting, crafts, and creative activities 🎨🧵

If anyone has any spare balls of wool sitting unused at home, we would be so grateful for any donations. Every colour and type is welcome and it all helps keep our residents busy, social, and doing activities they love ❤️

Donations can be dropped off at Ardnahein Care, 10 Glenmorag Avenue, Dunoon.

Yesterday’s menu choices looked delicious with something for everyone 🍽️

Main Choices

* Macaroni with homemade chips
* Sausage casserole with boiled potatoes
* Chicken supreme with rice

Desserts

* Sticky toffee pudding
* Vanilla ice cream
* Custard and fruit

A lovely hearty menu enjoyed by all our residents yesterday with plenty of comforting favourites on offer.

This afternoon Hugh and Jessie faced off in a fun game of wheelchair Hungry Hippos! There was plenty of laughter, friendly competition, and great teamwork as they raced to collect as many balls as possible. A fantastic afternoon enjoyed by everyone watching and taking part.
