Today, Chloe and Lynda were at CHATS / Cowal Hospice, speaking with some lovely people and enjoying a bit of cake at their Demystifying Death Week event.

We understand how difficult it can be if you’re anticipating the passing of a loved one or have recently experienced a loss. It can be an overwhelming time, with many questions, uncertainties, or moments where you simply don’t know what to do next.

Planning ahead while you’re well can ease some of the pressure later, yet it’s something many people put off until it feels too late. Demystifying Death Week is about creating space to talk openly, plan ahead, and support one another through death, dying, and loss.

We’ll be there again on Friday 8th May, 10–12, if you’d like to come along and have a chat.

People usually want to do the right thing when someone they know is affected by a serious illness , death or grief . But often they can feel a awkward offering help , or worry about making things worse .
Making plans when you’re healthy means there is less to think about when you’re ill. But people can can put off making plans until it is too late .
