Today has been a busy and fun-filled day in the kitchen! 🍲

Our residents helped peel the vegetables for a hearty beef stew with dumplings, while I took care of chopping the rest. We added tomatoes, tomato purée, and seasonings to create a delicious stew for everyone to enjoy this evening.

This morning, we went shopping at Sainsbury’s to pick up ingredients for the beef stew we’ll be making tomorrow 🍲.
B had a wonderful time exploring the aisles and choosing ingredients, and the trip also made for a lovely walk in the fresh air 🛒🌿

This morning, our residents had a lovely time baking cupcakes and a Victorian sponge cake filled with jam and buttercream 🍰🧁.

They really enjoyed the baking process and of course, tasting their creations with a cup of tea afterward made it even sweeter! ☕️💛

This morning at Dukeminster Court we had a relaxing Yoga session. Everyone worked hard and had an enjoyable time trying something different.

This evening at Dukeminster Court, residents enjoyed a special Indian-themed pub night 🍛🥂
The menu included Chicken Tikka Masala, Pilau Rice, Onion Bhaji, Bombay Potatoes, Naan Bread, Poppadoms, and Mango Chutney, finished off with refreshing Kulfi ice lollies 🍨.

Residents also enjoyed a tipple at the bar while traditional Indian music played, creating a lively and social atmosphere. It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying their meal and each other’s company! 🎶❤️

This afternoon at Dukeminster Court some residents watched Wallace and Gromit in the café whilst others enjoyed activities around the home.

We had a very competitive game of dominoes today at Dukeminster Court. We played 3's and 5's, a favourite of David one of our residents.
