In a week where we say goodbye to a special member of our gym community. We now mourn another.
I’m deeply saddened to share the passing of a friend and fellow gym member, Ben Callum. He was a genuine, down-to-earth guy, the size of a house and appreciated by everyone who knew him. His mix of strength and laughter always lit up the room.
When someone comes along and you click like you’ve known them for a long time, Ben was that guy. Except he was like that with everyone. His kindness, generosity and familiarity drew people in, making them feel instantly welcome and valued. He had a rare gift for making everyone feel like they mattered, and that sense of belonging is something we will all miss dearly.
He was more than just a gym member; he was a friend, Whether we were chatting about football, boxing, gym or just having a laugh, it was always a good debate between us.
I enjoyed our chats.
Another great person and role model taken from us too soon, his absence will hit hard for those of us thst knew him. Even more so for his loved ones of which I extend my deepest condolences.
Thanks mate, for being there with a helping hand when it was needed and for bringing your energy to the gym. Your memory will live on in the laughter and strength you shared. Rest easy, knowing you’ve left a lasting mark on our community.
we should all strive to embody the positivity he brought with him. A reminder to us of the importance of friendship, of being there for one another, and for making the most of the time we have. His spirit will continue to inspire us, reminding us of the power of a genuine smile and a listening ear.
The second slide is just Ben being strong as f%ck as per!
