We hope you all had a wonderful Bank holiday Monday.
It was a lovely relax day at the lodge today the activities included the well attended monthly residents meeting, plus this afternoon a Film club where everyone enjoyed,ice cream, crisps and marshmallows all washed down with a lovely glass of white wine . Residents in their rooms enjoyed one to one sessions with the wellbeing team too 💛

At the care home yesterday, we held a joyful
Sunflower Day on a warm,sunny day.Residents from both floors took part in planting sunflower seeds, and we are now running a friendly competition to see who can grow the tallest sunflower.🌻🌻🌻
Throughout the day, everyone also enjoyed a variety of activities, including word searches, a sunflower-themed anagram game, creating a sunflower collage, and taking part in a sunflower quiz. The wellbeing team also visited residents in their rooms to provide one-to-one sessions, offering time for individual support, conversation, and engagement.🌻🌻🌻
It was a truly beautiful day all round, filled with creativity, connection, laughter, and togetherness.🌻🌻🌻

Upcoming summer fete at the care home and would be so grateful for any donations to help make the day extra special for our residents ,items for the raffles,Tombola prizes, items for New/nearly new stalls or baked goods on the day would all be very much appreciated. Today at the Lodge was full of energy and engagement, with curling, plenty of puzzles, the ever-popular magazine game, and several meaningful one-to-one sessions across both floors. A thoroughly enjoyable day all round ☀️☀️☀️

Today’s activities included games, a spring quiz, and a trip to Houghton Hall Park.

The residents enjoyed the sunshine on their faces ☀️, watching dogs and children running around, and a treat of tea and ice cream. Some local police officers stopped by for a chat, and one of our residents jokingly said, “You can take me in anytime you like!”—so we playfully walked them over to the police car. Lovely afternoon for everyone involved
