Cervical screening is important. It can help stop cancer before it starts by detecting certain types of HPV (human papillomavirus) that can cause cell changes to the cervix. These cell changes are easily treated, preventing cervical cancer from developing

You will receive a letter from the NHS when you are due your cervical screening

If you think you are due an appointment or if you have any queries, please contact the surgery

If you feel nervous about screening, please let us know when booking your appointment - adjustments and support are available
