The National Grief Awareness Week
02.12.25 -08.12.25.
A shout out to all the bereavement services across the country that remain to support the pre & post bereavement for children, young people, adults & families.
My contribution towards bereavement intervention stems from counselling to psychotherapy, and not forgetting my self published, single user guide journal.
I had high aspirations for my 'Grief Episode Guide For Teens' journal. Having launched it in December 2020, the 100 page, A5 lightweight guide has not only supported young people during any stage of their loss, whether its anticipatory or post bereavement.
It's also there to support clinicians to deliver therapy, used as model of grief for various charities and hospices up and down the country. I'm very proud to say it remains to be one of a kind in support of the 12-25 year olds that remain to be underrepresented when it comes to resources or tailored intervention.
