It was a huge honour today to be the celebrant for this wonderfully fitting farewell to a well-loved, incredibly accomplished man, a true legend. The very special touches arranged by his wonderful family and friends were amazing. They all did him so proud, as did Tracey Rimmer from Whitehouse Funeral Service and all the team 🥰

Our Letters to Heaven postbox is here for anyone who wishes to share a message, a memory or a little piece of their heart with someone they miss dearly.

Christmas can be a beautiful but emotional time and writing a card can bring comfort, connection and a moment of piece.

Our grounds and the post box are accessible 365 days a year and 24 hours a day.

It’s nearly time for our Christmas Reflection Service on Saturday 6th December 10am until 1pm.

Come and join us to remember your loved ones, write a message for our tree of remembrance and spend time in our chapel where you can reflect whilst listening to Christmas Carols.

The lovely Nichola Reeder, Celebrant will also be joining us at 11am for a service of Christmas Remembrance. Then join us for a mince pie and a hot drink.

We would love to see you and really hope you can make it. Thank you to everyone who has submitted a photo which will be shown during the service 🎄

Our doors will be open from 10am until 1pm and a
short service, led by Celebrant Nichola Reeder will begin at 11.00am.

🎄 Write your own personal message on a bauble to hang on our Christmas Tree of Remembrance.

☕ Light refreshments will be available throughout the morning.

💐 Adults from Journey Enterprises in Coundon have been busy creating beautiful wreaths (£20) and lanterns (£15) which will be on sale during the event. All proceeds will go directly back into the centre to support activities for their adults.

I had the great honour of conducting a beautifully intimate private family funeral for a wonderful family man this morning. His lovely daughter Diane gave me these earrings when we met for me to wear today as her dad was a chocaholic! I was very touched when she also gifted me this gorgeous sea glass keepsake following the service. People’s capacity for kindness and thoughtfulness during the worst time of their lives always astounds me 🥰
