Over the past year, we have been inspired by the resilience, growth, and achievements of the Children we support, as well as the commitment, compassion, and hard work shown every day by our team. Their stories remind us why we do what we do and continue to shape the direction of our services.

As we step into the year ahead, we wish everyone a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year. We are excited about what’s to come and look forward to sharing more of our stories, successes, and journeys with you throughout 2026.

**Hennessy Living Group - Christmas Wishes**

As we approach the end of another year, we would like to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for the trust and support you've shown us throughout 2025. To our valued Young People, dedicated staff, and wonderful suppliers, we are truly thankful for the partnerships and friendships we’ve built together.

This festive season, we send our warmest wishes to you, our followers, family, and friends. May this holiday be filled with joy, peace, and special moments shared with loved ones.

As we look forward to the new year, we are excited to continue working together, achieving even greater success and sharing our stories across our social media sites. **Hennessy Living Group - Newcastle Utd with Willow Lodge**

Here at Hennessy Living Group we always ensure our young people get the best out of their weekly activities and these are based around the child's needs and interests. One of our young people at Willow Lodge is football mad and is a huge Newcastle United supporter. One of our members of staff took this on and booked for the young person to go and have a tour around St James Park, where the young person got to learn about the history of both the stadium and the football team, and how Newcastle United became the team that they are today. Our young person also got to have a visit to the corporate rooms where the players and other celebrities get to spend their time while at St James Park.

**Hennessy Living Group - Rugby Match with Aspen House**

Here at Hennessy Living Group, we ensure that our staff and Young People support their peers when they are engaged with social activities. One of our Young People was playing in a local Rugby match and we were on the sideline to show our support and cheer them on. It may have been cold, but we had a fantastic day watching the match in the Autumn sunshine.

**Hennessy Living Group - Remembrance Sunday with Willow Lodge**

Lest We Forget!

Here at Hennessy Living Group, we highly respect those who lost their today, for us to have our tomorrow,. The children at Willow Lodge have been taking part in creating their very own wreath using their handprints to create the perfect poppies. On Sunday, the children and staff joined the local Community in the parade held at our local cenotaph to mark our respect and to remember those who sadly lost their lives for us.
Staff held discussions with the children around why we celebrate Remembrance Day, and about all those brave soldiers who lost their lives fighting in the war for us. We also discussed why we use the poppy as a token of remembrance. Our children enjoyed making their own wreath and were very respectful when at the local parade.

**Hennessy Living Group - Supermarket Sweep with Pine Lodge**

Here at Hennessy Living Group we like to ensure we make learning and independence is a fun experience. Our staff at Pine Lodge have been engaging our Young People in completing shopping challenges. Just like the famous game show 'Supermarket Sweep', we ensured our quick dash around our local Lidl provided everything needed on our shopping list. Our Young Person added items to the trolley and assisted putting these through the checkout and paying.

**Hennessy Living Group - Activity & Chill Zone with Pine Lodge**

Here at Hennessy Living Group, we like to ensure our Children & Young People have a space outside of the home where we consider their requests for in-house activities or a space to chill, is available. Over at Pine Lodge, we have created such a space. A warm inviting environment to relax and game. Sessions to keep up with fitness, with boxing bags and open space for messy play. Our Children and Young People, thrive in their own space and have made it their own little haven.

Here at Hennessy Living Group, our service Beech Lodge held their first MacMillan Coffee morning, on Wednesday 29th October. Both Staff and Young People made cakes and had a good gossip. Additionally, we celebrated raising monies, which are supporting a worthwhile cause and we are over the moon at the total raised so far.
Raising money for charity is something that our Young People can be proud of.

**Hennessy Living Group - Butterfly World with Beech Lodge**

Here at Hennessy Living Group, we encourage our Children and Young People to go out and be at one with nature, where and when safe to do so. What better than a trip to Butterfly World at Preston Park. A tour around the beautiful butterfly house, seeing all the amazing colours of the tropical butterflies. In may be Autumn outside, but inside it hot, hot, hot, so it was only right that we finished our trip with a very tasty ice cream!

**Hennessy Living Group - Alice in Wonderland Castle with Beech Lodge**

At the Hennessy Living Group, we ensure our Young People and Children have the chance to engage their imaginations where possible. At Raby Castle, Our children from Beech Lodge visited the Alice in Wonderland event. Our children followed the trail just like the white rabbit, answering questions on the way and looking for clues to take them to a Hatter tea-party. Luckily they all came back the same size as when they went!
