Pre-wedding Anti-wrinkle treatment: 6–8 weeks before is the sweet spot. Even for the Mother of the Bride.

Why:

It's settled by the day itself.
Any small bruising has long since cleared.
There's a built-in two-week review point if you want to refine anything.

Why we'd avoid first-time in the final two weeks: there's no time for the natural settling-in period, and you'd be making a decision about how your face moves on the same week you're also picking out canapés.

If your wedding is in late June, July or early August, this is the booking window for anti wrinkle treatments. Free face to face medical consultation is required.

The honest answer is 4–6 months before the wedding day. Here's why:

The filler has time to settle properly.
Any tiny bruising has cleared completely.
You have a chance to come back and refine at a follow-up — no pressure, no rush.

Polynucleotides vs TAS Skin Booster — what's the difference for pre-wedding clients?

Both are collagen-stimulating treatments. Both work with your skin's biology rather than sitting on top of it. Both need a few months to do their best work — which is why 6–9 months before the wedding is the sweet spot.

Polynucleotides tend to suit clients who want to focus on under-eyes and skin quality. Skin Booster is more of a whole-face hydration and bounce treatment.

DO YOU KNOW WHAT GOES INTO YOUR FACE?

At The Aesthetic Surgery in Durham, dermal filler is one of the most transformative and underrated treatments we offer. When performed correctly, filler can enhance and balance the entire face by defining the jawline, lips, chin and cheeks, while also softening nasolabial folds (the lines from the nose to the mouth).

More and more patients are now coming in specifically asking for Neauvia, and there is a very good reason for that.

⭐️ It is not just another HA filler ⭐️

Most hyaluronic acid fillers on the market are cross-linked using a chemical called BDDE (1,4-butanediol diglycidyl ether). BDDE helps turn liquid HA into a stable gel, giving it structure and longevity. However, small traces of residual cross-linker can remain in the product, which may be one of the reasons some patients experience inflammation, nodules, or delayed hypersensitivity reactions.

Neauvia uses a different cross-linking technology altogether.

Instead of BDDE, it uses PEG (polyethylene glycol). PEG is a biocompatible polymer used in pharmaceuticals and medical applications because it is exceptionally well tolerated by human tissue.

The result is a filler that integrates more naturally, often feeling less like a foreign product under the skin and more like an extension of the patient’s own tissue, delivering refined, balanced results with a softer and more natural finish.
