We were really proud to support the Durham County Council this year 😊Especially as we celebrate our 50th Year and reconnect with so many groups we have supported over the years.

Back where it all began… Tow Law 💙

As part of our 50th year, we headed back to Tow Law — and it truly felt like arriving at a family reunion.

Our Chairman, Harry, had the chance to sit down with some of our former employees to share stories, laughter and plenty of “remember when…” moments. It was a genuinely special afternoon. Hearing how working at Banks shaped careers, created lifelong friendships and, for many, truly changed lives was incredibly powerful.

That real family spirit was clear to see — people looking out for one another, growing together and taking pride in the work they were part of.

A lot has changed over the past 50 years, but that sense of community and belonging hasn’t.

And that’s something truly worth celebrating. 💛

Proud to have attended the Catalyst Conference and Awards as a sponsor at the The Oakwood Centre for the Catalyst Stockton VCSE Awards.

What an amazing event – truly inspirational talks from local charities and volunteers, all showcasing the incredible impact being made across Stockton’s communities.

A huge congratulations to Gary Doyle, winner of the Volunteer of the Year, for his outstanding work with BCT Aspire. So well deserved! 👏

It was fantastic to see the breadth of work happening across the sector – from the brilliant initiative Daisy Chain and their Neuthread project, repurposing old clothes into ‘new’ outfits while supporting autistic and neurodiverse individuals, to inspiring presentations from The Bread and Butter Thing and Volunteering Matters.

A fabulous event celebrating the dedication, compassion and hard work of volunteers, charities and community groups across Stockton. We’re incredibly proud to support such an important initiative and be part of a community that makes such a positive difference.

We’re pleased to welcome six new graduates to the Banks Group as they begin our two-year graduate training programme across Banks Property, Banks Homes and Banks Mining.

It’s also great to see our previous graduates successfully complete the scheme and move into permanent roles 👏
