We're always motivated and inspired by the support St Margaret's Centre receives from our community. After sharing on social media last week that the 'Pay It Forward' free meal tokens in our café were running extremely low, we were overwhelmed by the response – numerous customers came in to help out, and even a generous person living 300 miles away called up to make a donation and fill the board.

The work is ongoing and the demand remains high, but it is truly heartwarming to see kindness travel so far!

We are trying something new in the café today. Pulled Pork served in a brioche bun served with a side salad and we have a vegetarian option if you prefer. £5.00 a bun. Available from 11.30am till 2pm.

We celebrate "Britsih Pie Week" every week here at The Old School Café. From Homemade Corned Beef Pies to Macaroni Cheese Pies and a whole lot more. Who knows what flavour we will create next?

Hello everyone, please be aware that the free food tokens at our community hub The Old School Café are running extremely low. We're sorry to say that we cannot guarantee any will be available if you are visiting today.

This project is unfunded, and tokens are provided through a 'Pay It Forward' scheme that our community has generously supported since it began over two years ago. If you have the means, we would really appreciate it if you could support this scheme by purchasing a food token on your next visit. Tokens are £3, and can be used to provide a free meal to someone who needs it.

If you need support, there is a noticeboard in our entrance lobby with information on how to access local food banks and other services.
