Stroke beginning a strange life

Stroke beginning a strange life Single handed living has forced me to find adaptations and substitutions for continued independence and active living. I want to share them with you.

In 2011 at the age 34, I had a massive hemorrhagic stroke and I also had a hole in my lung, I have been trying to achieve a satisfactory recovery ever since. I am right handed since I no longer have the use I have had to achieve a left hand way of coping which was a challenge. However, single handed living in a two handed world is still a challenge. I want to share these ideas with other stroke survivors and I hope the following photos and videos will inspire other stroke survivors to continue to be active and to re-establish an enjoyable lifestyle. ADAPT, IMPROVISE, AND OVERCOME. Ian Lightowler, Stroke Survivor
