The new gym equipment has now been delivered, and work is officially underway on the gym floor renovation at Bannatyne Health Club Durham.

During this improvement period, members who usually use the gym are welcome to visit Bannatyne Chester-le-Street, who are kindly accommodating us in the meantime.

We’re upgrading your gym 💪

From 27–30 April, Bannatyne Durham gym will be closed as we bring you a completely refreshed training space — reopening 1 May 2026 👀

🔥 What’s coming?
✔ Brand-new Technogym cardio
✔ Functional training rig with HYROX features
✔ Turf track + sled
✔ New lifting platforms & racks
✔ SkiErgs, AirBike & more
✔ Upgraded flooring & fresh layout

This is all about giving you more variety, better performance, and an even better workout experience.

👉 Good news:
• Pool, spa & changing facilities remain open
• Studios & classes are still running (with extra sessions added!)
• You can also train at Bannatyne Chester-Le-Street during the closure.

⚠ Gym floor classes will be paused temporarily

💥 We can’t wait for you to train in the new and improved space from 1st May
