Hi! My name is Jo and I am a qualified ear wax removal practitioner. I’m based in the Durham area.
I qualified as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) in 1992, and have worked as a Nurse Practitioner since 2000. During this time, I have worked on Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) wards, Accident and Emergency (A&E), and walk-in centres, as well as in General Practice from 2015.
I have always been interested in ear care. Having the opportunity and ability to asses and safely remove ear wax is very rewarding, and often an instant relief for clients.
I am very passionate about inclusion. I have spent much of my professional life working with those who are neurodivergent, have mental health issues, and learning difficulties. Don’t be nervous to reach out of there are any concerns, I will happily make my space a comfortable place for all. As well as this, my equipment is portable. I would gladly consider home visits after discussion!
