Early start this morning in , to complete with the night and day team 🩺

Using the E-MAR system, the nursing team were assessed safely administering medication to a number of residents, covering a range of routes including...

✅ Oral (Including Controlled Drugs)

✅ Enteral

✅ Inhalation

✅ Ocular

✅ Topical

✅ Transdermal

⭐ All nurses passing the assessed criteria...safely handling and administering prescribed medication ⭐

‼️This helps to meet regulatory requirements for CQC and Local Authority, and as recommended by NICE‼️

💫 For us, it's completeness, as we also carried out CPD Safe Handling and Administration Of Medication, which also included a Simulated Competency Assessment 💫

Old habits die hard‼️

I was never the best at my hospital corners 🫣

At the training venue today, just fitted the evacuation ski to the mattress for our training, and that little voice in my head said "Now do a decent hospital corner"
..what do you think 🤔
..would you strip the bed and yell at me 'DO IT AGAIN" ⁉️
