As most of you are aware by now, I like to make things that not only interest me but also challenge me. So continuing with the pond theme I decided to make a small internal side table consisting of different size Lillie pads and a water Lillie flower, with the stems of the pads and flowers twisting up the forged table legs. I am very pleased with the outcome of this price and think that I'm going to struggle to part with it 🙈 However it will be available at Frampton 🪷

Another sculpture completed for exhibition and sale at Frampton Country Fair. 7ft bluebells made from 63mm steel tubing cut, forged and blued for effect on 20mm round solid bar stems with 40mm X 3mm steel flat bar for the leaves and all fixed to a 20mm steel plate.
It would make a fantastic show piece for a large lawn.

This evening we delivered this truly magnificent 2.5m long buy 1.8m tall bee to a local customer who had specifically planted a wild flower border for it to sit in. As you can all imagine I thoroughly enjoyed making a bee, and it turned out just as I and the customer expected 🐝 the 3mm stainless steel wings even flap gently in the breeze.video to follow

We have had a very busy few months due to moving house and I have only recently been able to use my new work shop and uncover all my long lost sculpture making equipment 🙈
I only managed to start my Frampton Country Fair preparation this week which is nearly two months later than usual so I now have to play catch up. I have however during this period made a very impressive commission for a customer and which I will unveil once I have delivered it next week 🐝
Yesterday I completed the first sculpture for Frampton show 🎉 I hope you all like it as this year I have decided to go with a botanical & insect theme, so make sure you come and visit us again this year at the show in September.

My latest sculpture has been finished for a while, it's had to remain secret as it was commissioned for a fair well presented. who doesn't love bluebell's and bumblebees 🪻🐝
