Shaun did not want a funeral but his family know that people will want to remember him and celebrate his life.

We are holding a gathering on Saturday 9th May, from 6.30pm, in the beer tent at The Little Vintage Show, Dursley Road, Cambridge, Glos, GL2 7AB.

Everyone who knew Shaun is welcome to attend - please come along and share your memories. We are planning on putting some memory books out for you to share your stories. Please bring any old photos that you are happy to share too.

There will be drinks and tea/coffee available.

Donations in memory of Shaun may be made to Teckels Animal Sanctuaries, Bristol Road, Whitminster. GL2 7LU.

There is limited parking in the show field by the beer tent, and more car parking in the show public car parking field further up the lane (follow signs). If anyone plans to leave a vehicle overnight please use the car park. Please do NOT leave any vehicles in the show field overnight.

Robert Steven TITHERIDGE (Rob) of Leaside Close, Cam, passed away peacefully at Pennwood Lodge Nursing Home, Wotton-under-Edge on 4th April 2026 aged 72. Funeral service to be held at Gloucester Crematorium on Tuesday 5th May at 11:00am followed by refreshments at the Railway Inn, Cam, 12 noon onwards. All welcome.

Last week we had the privilege of using a Land Rover Defender hearse from Land Rover Defender Hearse Hire. One Life Lived It. for a service at the beautiful Holy Trinity Church in Stroud.

Not every family feels a traditional hearse is the right choice, and that’s completely understandable. There are many different ways to reflect someone’s life, and these changes can make a real difference.

Passed away peacefully on 7th April 2026, aged 83.
A devoted husband to Marilyn, a much loved father to Michael, Neil and Steven, and a dearly loved grandad to Richard, Laura, Matilda and Abigail. A proud supporter of Berkeley Town Football Club, Graham will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
The funeral service will be held on Friday 15th May 2026 at 12 noon at St Mary’s Church, Berkeley. All are welcome to attend and are invited to wear casual, relaxed attire, or whatever they feel most comfortable in.

Notice of Funeral Cortege – Alveston Gloucester Rd (A38) heading towards Thornbury

Tomorrow morning we will be conducting the funeral of a well-known local gentleman in Alveston.
The family home is located on the A38, where there are currently traffic barriers and cones in place. The cortege will consist of two main vehicles and will need to pause briefly to collect family members.
This may cause a short delay between approximately 10:15am and 10:20am.
We sincerely apologise for any disruption this may cause to your journey and thank you for your patience and understanding at this time.
