If you’ve been watching the olympics you’ve probably noticed numerous athletes who have undergone Cupping Therapy.

So what is it?…..

Cupping therapy has been around for 100’s of years.

Used to alleviate tension in the muscles & soft tissues and speed up recovery by helping to deliver blood flow to the sight of tension or injury.

If our tissues are tight they cannot accept blood flow well. Poor blood flow means poor oxygen & nutrient delivery into the cells and poor waste removal away from the sight of injury or tension. If blood flow and lymphatic flow are compromised and not working well it can cause chronic pain, inflammation, poor recovery and performance and even disease.

The marks left on the skin are not bruises, this is old blood being brought to the surface of the skin to allow your body to flush it away.

The darker the mark, the tighter the tissue, highlighting more stagnated blood in that area.

Cupping Therapy can improve recovery, speed up healing, reduce tension, increase mobility and help alleviate pain.

2023 has arrived and It’s back to business!

I hope everyone enjoyed themselves over the Christmas period.

January brings a new found motivation and determination for a lot of us, it’s easy to hit training hard in a bid to burn off the Christmas calories , usually leading to injury and complete body burn out.

It’s important to ease yourself back slowly and build up the intensity.

Recovery is just as important as exercise to allow you to reach your goals successfully!

Stay hydrated, Eat well, Stretch, Sleep, Repeat!

Please note As of the 1st April 2022 there will be a small price increase on treatments.

This will be my first increase for 3 years, and has been a difficult decision for me.

I have felt under pressure to increase my prices due to the rise in energy prices, and business supplies.

I know we are all feeling the pressure at the moment with the cost of living increasing.
