ℹ️ You may be aware of the meningitis outbreak in Kent. If you are worried or feeling unwell, please call NHS 111 for advice.

Some of the symptoms of meningitis may include:
🔹 High temperature
🔹 Being sick
🔹 Headache
🔹 Rash that does not fade when a glass is rolled over it
🔹 Drowsiness or unresponsiveness

Vaccinations offer some protection against certain causes of meningitis. Check to see if your vaccinations are up to date.

All good things must come to an end. Sadly handed over my Deputy Lead Governor of South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust baton to a wonderful Governor and friend Chas Mcgill, having served my maximum term of 9yrs and re elected three times. Now in my 17th year with SCAS.

I'm moving over to the patient safety/peer review teams. Looking forward to a new challenge.
