🩺💊 From today, you can get treatment for seven common conditions at most pharmacies without a GP prescription.

This will make it quicker and easier to get care while empowering pharmacists to use their expertise.

Across England, 95% of pharmacies have signed up to offer the expanded service which includes treatment for:

🟢 sinusitis, sore throat and earache
🟢 infected insect bite, impetigo and shingles
🟢 uncomplicated urinary tract infections in women

The annual GP patient survey will be undertaken in early January 2024, this is being run by Ipsos as an independent survey on behalf of NHS England.

Over 2 million people across England will be randomly selected and invited to participate in this survey to better help NHS England understand and identify any areas for improvement within Primary Care.
