Things like this, and my first customer of the day, make everything worthwhile. Also being asked if I want to help sponsor local clubs and fêtes tells me that my little shop has been integrated into local life, and I just cannot express what that means to me.

I am so proud of myself for taking the huge step into having my own shop where I am responsible for everything. I nearly didn't because I knew what it would do to my health and body, but days like today really do make me want to keep going :)

I am beyond touched to receive this from a lovely pupil at Earlston Primary School. They made this thank you card and wrote it out themself and it is beautiful! Well done for raising just under £1000 at your Christmas fete. That is a wonderful achievement and everyone should be very proud of themselves.

Here's to Christmas 2026 when you will smash the £1000 total!!

Morning everyone

I have in the shop a 50\50 raffle sheet on behalf of Melrose and District Pipes and Drums. They are raising funds to help them travel to Teba later in the year. It is £2 a number and it closes on 31st march 2026.

So whether you love supporting local causes, having a little flutter, or both, pop in and secure your number today :)

Goooood morning everyone!!

I hope you are all feeling well today and managed to enjoy yesterday's sunshine :)

Valentine's has passed and we are now on the countdown to Mothering Sunday. Gifts are in stock now and cards will be available from next week (I am still waiting for a component in the post 🙄).

Brand new in the shop today is this German Shepherd tea towel. Only 2 available!

Now for an important announcement:

I will be closed this Saturday the 21st. Hubby and I have reached a major milestone that neither of us (individually) ever thought we would reach - it's our silver wedding anniversary. :) So we are going out for the day in Edinburgh. I will be back open as usual next Wednesday 25th at 10am.

So this week's opening times are:
Wednesday to Friday 10-4
Saturday CLOSED
