This is why we take each new client through a triage based approach.
You will have an initial posture and injury assessment, where our therapists are looking for areas of weakness or abnormality, so moving forward our personal training team can ensure your training is corrective and tailored to make sure your body is functioning correctly and effectively to avoid injuries.
You will have regular follow ups to assess posture, joint movement and strength, testing, all to make sure you are moving optimally and pain free 🏋🏾♀️

tri Wellness, was set up with the vision “To build as much self love and confidence in as many individuals possible”. It is at times like these, which we have to come together as a community and support each other.
During COVID-19 our team are doing their upmost to support both your mental and physical well-being as much as possible. One of the key beliefs at tri Wellness is that the motion of the body equates to your emotion. How you move, hold your posture, speak and more, truly reflect how you feel in internally.
Over the next few weeks we will see a rise in levels of anxiety, depression, pain related injuries, tension injuries and more. It is vital you monitor how you are feeling on a daily basis, but how do you do this?
Meditation - Take 10/15 mins a day to tune into your body, monitor how you are feeling internally, pay attention to your breathing and take time to relax. Download the app - Calm.
Exercise - Exercise is amazing for a stressed mind. You need to look after your body and in the current circumstances there is no reason you can not take 20 minutes out of your day, to move away from that computer or desk, get the blood pumping and release so endorphins/serotonin and feel happier. READ - Reading is amazing for the stimulation of our brains. We can expand our brains neuro-plasticity (connections in the brain) daily through continuous education. We need to continuously learn and adapt our skills sets or we can not create new cells, increase mental agility and improve neural retention (the ability to remember tasks/thoughts). Reading List - The Secret, The Anxiety Solution - 2 Books which had a massive impact on my life.
Look after your body - When individuals start feeling pain or discomfort occur within areas of the body, the common thing to do would be ignore it and wait till it goes away (which it will not) or start stretching or yoga. Yes, yoga is great to improve flexibility however pain is NOT caused by a lack of flexibility. Pain within a normal tissue is commonly caused from over tension (overload), this is where the neutral structure of the body has changed. Muscles get overloaded, opposite muscle groups get tight and “switch off” or dont work to their full capacity due to alteration of the body, and pain receptor initiate. How do you stop this? -
tri To Learn - We are daily posting FREE short 5/10 minute videos, around the common injuries which will occur throughout people working from home. These will include - Neck tightness, tension headaches, numbness down the arms, lower back pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis.
FACETIME Consultation - Our Well-being Director is performing facetime consultations to advice people on how to overcome their injuries, supplements/NSAIDS which would help, exercises to improve posture and decrease pain. 1 Hour consultations are only - £20 during this time.
5. JUST TALK - We all sometimes just need to vent. This is not a bad thing. But we cant vent to our loved ones as it almost always turns into a argument or about them. That is why our amazing psychology team are hear to listen to you. During this time we are offering 30 minute FREE facetime sessions with both our psychotherapists and EFT practitioner.
