👋🏻 Meet Ross, one of our talented Osteopaths and a driving force behind Northallerton & Easingwold Osteopaths! 🌟

⚽️ Ross discovered Osteopathy at 16 after a serious football injury left him with back pain and sciatica.

🎓Awarded the Dean’s Prize for Osteopathic Excellence in 2015 at Leeds Beckett University, Ross began working for lecturer and tutor Joanna Waterworth at our Northallerton clinic.

2017 saw Ross & Jo go into business together and moved Northallerton Osteopaths to their new home at Hale House in order to expand the business.

2021 - Ross became a partner at Easingwold Osteopaths. This prompted the merge of both patient databases so the clinics could be run as one business with dual-site location.

2024 - Ross & Jo won the prestigious ‘UK - Large Practice of the Year 2024’ with the Institute of Osteopathy.

Big news! 🎉 We’re thrilled to welcome Darren Chandler, an experienced Osteopath, to our team!

Darren brings over two decades of expertise, having graduated from the John Wernham College of Classical Osteopathy in 2000.

His passion for learning led him to the Northern College of Acupuncture, where he earned his qualification in 2006, and he’s since honed his skills with postgraduate training through the British Medical Acupuncture Society.

💪 What sets Darren apart? His patient-centered approach blends manual soft tissue techniques with acupuncture to effectively address a wide range of conditions for all ages. Whether it’s low back pain, sports injuries, or shoulder pain, Darren’s adaptable techniques ensure each treatment is tailored to your unique needs.

🏊‍♂️ In his early years, Darren had a background in swimming and triathlons and now stays active with regular training. Currently, he’s diving deeper into advanced muscle therapy techniques to keep delivering the best care possible.

As the lower ribs flare, where they attach onto the spine just beneath the bra strap can become painful.

We’ve made the final again!!

Thank you so much to all our patients who voted for us and have helped us make it back-to-back finals for UK Practice of the Year!

This special award from the Institute of Osteopathy is all about recognising osteopathic practices that listen to their patients, provide great care and go that extra mile in service in quality.

We’re so pleased to make the final again after making it in 2023 & missing out on the big prize. Our wonderful neighbours and friendly competitors Bedale Osteopaths took the big spot and we couldn’t have been happier for them as they lead the way in flying the flag for North Yorkshire 🌿

🤞🏻Wish us luck for the final at the end of November! Jo, Ross & Amy will be making their way down to the awards evening in London to represent the clinic & will be hoping to come back with that very special prize.

Did you know we treat babies and young children? 💫

Here’s our Clinical Director and Osteopath Joanna Waterworth having a little fun with one of our smaller patients 👶🏻

Jo has a special interest in Paediatric Osteopathy and was awarded a post-graduate Paediatric Osteopathy diploma back in 2016.

Since then, Jo has been part of the faculty of the Sutherland Cranial College of Osteopathy to develop and deliver this course herself.

Osteopathy is a gentle treatment suitable for children and babies and can help soothe or relax your baby.
