🤩PROUD MUM ALERT🥳

This wee superstar only went & smashed her A levels & has been accepted into UAL Wimbledon Art School to do Costume Design (her first choice)!🥳👏🏼

What a summer she’s having!🌞

Now that her results are in she’s sorting out deferring until next year so she can take a year out to work & go travelling✈️ First stop: Australia for a month over Christmas to visit , then onto Japan & South Korea.

I mean, what?

Hands up who remembers being that driven & organised at that age? Blimmin’ brilliant! So so pleased for her🥰👌🏼

Watch as I cry my eyes out in December when she flies away for months…😭🤣🙋🏼‍♀️

“You must never be fearful about what you are doing when it’s the right thing” Rosa Parks❤️

Add this post to your grid today, and let’s flood the feed to demand an immediate end to all UK arms sales to Israel and an immediate ceasefire NOW.

We know a FB post doesn’t change anything, but there is bravery in numbers. People needn’t be afraid of calling out this atrocity any longer.

If this post is the first time you have spoken out, let it not be the last. We need everyone on board!

A call to action for Gaza

Let’s talk warm-ups.Not the “can’t be bothered, let’s skip to the good bit” kind of energy…I’m talking about the gentle, deliberate kind that actually sets you up for a better workout and a better day. This little warm-up is perfect before literally anything: a run, a strength session, a yoga flow, even just a long walk or a day of sitting at your desk. It gets your joints moving, wakes up your muscles, and tells your nervous system, “hey doll, we’re about to do something useful, not just scroll aimlessly through your phone again.”Warming up properly means:✔️ You’re less likely to injure yourself✔️ You move better, feel stronger, and perform with more ease✔️ You give your brain time to catch up with your body (important)✔️ And honestly? You just feel more in it from the get-goSo next time you’re tempted to skip it…don’t. A few minutes or so of movement and mobility drills can make all the difference. Save this one and do it daily.. your future self will thank you!

Back from a beautiful week in Dalyan in Turkey…sunshine, sea swims, mountain views, & yep, early alarms too.

Because while I definitely relaxed into the slower, softer rhythm of holiday life (think: quiet mornings, salty skin, no deadlines), I also made space for what keeps me grounded.

I ran.
I practiced.
I trained.
I ate well.
I rested, but I didn’t check out.

And that’s what Love in Motion has come to mean for me.

It’s not about being “on” all the time, or swinging from one extreme to the other.

It’s about meeting myself with care, even in unfamiliar rhythms.

Keeping the promises I made to myself, even when the routine shifts.

Not falling off the wagon, but gently riding alongside it in a different lane for a while.

Because this is the work, isn’t it?
Not just doing yoga, but living it.
Choosing strength AND softness. Effort AND ease. Discipline WITH compassion.

Now I’m back, feeling clear, refreshed, & ready to move with you again.

We’ll pick up our Love in Motion theme this week, but with a touch more fire. A little more edge.

Because we’re closing out this term & it’s time to take everything we’ve built - on and off the mat - & step into it.

Classes restart tomorrow, & I’d love to see your faces. Whether you’ve been away, out of routine, or right here the whole time, come & move, come & breathe, come & return to your mat.

Because what would love do?
Love would show up🔥💛

Body confidence isn’t this big, dramatic lightbulb moment. At least, not for me.It’s more like a quiet decision I keep making - day after day - to stop being so hard on myself. To stop picking myself apart in the mirror. To stop letting my insecurities decide how I show up.It’s been many years of work (thank you yoga!) for me to realise that I don’t need to love every inch of my body to be kind to it.I just need to stop punishing it.My body has carried me through so much - stress, joy, grief, growth. And instead of constantly asking it to shrink or change or improve, maybe it’s time I just said:thank you🙏🏼🥰Confidence, for me now, is this gentle kind of power. It’s going to the thing even if I don’t feel my best (and loving myself in the process). It’s choosing the outfit even when my brain says, “hmm, maybe not.” (and loving myself in the process)It’s catching myself in the act of self-criticism and flipping the script (and loving myself in the process). It’s not about looking in the mirror and shouting “I LOVE YOU” every day…though if you do, more power to you💪🏼It’s about practising kindness. It’s about learning to treat myself the way I treat the people I love. With grace. With patience. With softness. It’s a work in progress…but every time I choose to show up for myself, I build a little more trust. And that, my friends, feels like a much more sustainable kind of confidence.Who’s with me?🙋🏼‍♀️❤️

What if you stopped trying to change your body… and started learning how to live in it?

Not just tolerating it. Not managing it. Not fixing it.
But actually feeling at home in the body you have, right now, today.

We’re so used to believing that peace, confidence, and freedom will come when we hit the goal, drop the weight, follow the plan, stay in control.
But that chase? It never really ends.

So what if the answer isn’t a better body…
but a better relationship with your body?

✨ Imagine moving because it feels good—not because you “should”
✨ Choosing food based on what supports you—not what punishes you
✨ Speaking to yourself with the same kindness you give to everyone else
✨ Standing in front of the mirror and feeling calm—not critical

What if you could build that version of yourself?
Not in a drastic, overnight way—but in a slow, steady, supportive way that actually lasts?

I’ve been thinking about this a lot.
The quiet revolution that happens when we start living with our bodies instead of against them.
And I’ve been working on something behind the scenes—a kind of care package for your relationship with your body.

It’s gentle.
It’s real.
It’s almost ready.

If any of this is resonating, stay close.
Something beautiful is coming soon. 💛

I don’t think most of us were taught how to love our bodies.

We were taught how to fix them.

How to shrink them, smooth them, flatten them.
We were handed a checklist of flaws and told to work our way through it until we became “acceptable.”

And even if we intellectually know that’s not how worth works, those old messages don’t just disappear.

They sit quietly in the background of our choices.
They whisper when we look in the mirror.
They sneak into our thoughts when we skip a workout or eat something joyful.

But here’s the thing I keep coming back to:
Self-love isn’t a feeling you magically wake up with.
It’s not a finish line.
It’s a practice. A muscle you build.

Some days it feels strong.
Some days it’s shaky.
But every time you choose kindness over criticism—every time you return to your body with softness instead of shame—you strengthen it.

Because your body isn’t a problem to solve.
It’s your home.

And it deserves to be treated like it belongs to someone you care deeply about.

So if loving yourself feels like a struggle—it’s okay.
You’re not failing.

You’re just learning to unlearn a lifetime of conditioning.

And that? That’s powerful.

Start with this:

Would I speak to my best friend the way I speak to myself?

Now work backwards from there. 💛

Some days, the work feels like a slog. You show up, you put in the effort—and still, the results don’t come overnight. And that’s where so many of us start to drift. We wonder if we’re wasting our time.We question whether it’s worth it.We start to believe maybe we’re just not cut out for it.But here’s the truth:The hard work? The slow progress? The showing up when it would be easier not to?That’s where the transformation actually happens. The moments you don’t give up—those are the ones that shape you. They build your strength. They sharpen your focus. They remind you that you are capable of more than you give yourself credit for. This isn’t about forcing yourself to grind. It’s about learning that consistency can feel like an act of self-respect.It’s choosing to believe that what you want is possible—even on the days it feels far away.Because it’s not about getting it perfect. It’s about staying in the game when it gets hard. That’s the work. That’s the magic. And you’re doing it—even if it doesn’t feel pretty.💛 Keep going. You’ve already done harder things than this.

My Story

PROMISE YOURSELF | SHOW UP | LIVE TRUE

I have over 10,000 hours of teaching experience since qualifying in my 200 hours with Yoga Alliance under Paul Jerard of Aura Wellness in 2009.

Although my classes are constantly evolving, I continue to teach a challenging and dynamic practice that heals and detoxifies the body and mind. Emphasising awareness through precision and meditation in motion, my classes challenge the body, engage the mind and quicken the spirit, underpinned with motivational readings and traditional philosophy linking what is learnt on the mat to every day life.

In 2011, I founded Twisted Yoga. From the humble beginnings of my garden studio, and with the help of my partner Alex, Twisted has grown into two studio locations in North London.
