We’re currently receiving a lot of calls from patients asking if there is a prescription ready for them to collect.

This obviously takes us away from the task of dispensing your medicines and offering the numerous other services we provide.

Did you know we offer a text messaging service that will alert you when your prescription is on our shelves ready to collect?

The spring Covid vaccination campaign is due to begin on the 1st of April.

You can get a Covid vaccine if you:

💉Are aged 75 or over (including those who will be 75 by 17th June 2025)

💉Are aged 6 months to 74 years and have a weakened immune system because of certain health conditions or treatments.

💉Live in a care home for older adults.

Patients can pre book their appointment from today either online or by ringing 📞119. East Boldon Village Pharmacy will only be offering appointments for those over the age of 18.

Please note appointments must be booked via one of these routes and cannot be booked directly with the pharmacy.

We have a part time job opportunity for a friendly and enthusiastic Counter Assistant to join our Pharmacy team. The role is 4 hours per day Monday to Friday between 10am-2pm and the occasional Saturday morning.
