I Thought I would post a photo of a sunnier, warmer day to welcome in 2026.

I was talking to a friend before Christmas about foot pain, and it is so evident that when we have foot pain it is so hard to know what to do. We know our GPs are busy and getting an appointment is tricky. Even when we do, will they actually be able to help. If we look at private options who do we see or if you buy something off the internet will it be any good?

Being a sole trader means I generally make all my own appointments which means that everyone that contacts me is triaged for free. No wasted time and no wasted money.

When you book a gait analysis be sure you get out of it what you need. None of us are built the same and none of us run the same so let’s not try and change things that don’t need changing. Use it to look into injury patterns, compare footwear, identify areas for strength work or just learn more about how you move.

Just like your assessment is tailored to your individual requirements, the report you are sent at the end of a full gait assessment is also individualised. The technology is there to collect the data, and it is my role to work out the relevance and explain this to you in a way that has meaning and purpose.

Report writing takes time, but often when I do go through the information after the appointment, I can notice additional details that links things together.
