Successful Grant Application!

We are thrilled to announce Ryde Beach Lifeguards have been able to purchase an Adult Beach Wheelchair. This a fantastic demonstration of the partnership working to make Ryde Beach accessible!

Todd Miller, Manager of Ryde Beach Lifeguards Said:
“We are really pleased to have been able to purchase an additional Adult Beach Wheelchair for our service in Ryde, thanks to Southern Water and Ryde Town Council after a successful grant application.

This will mean that visitors to both Ryde and Sandown Beaches will be able to hire a Beach Wheelchair from our Lifeguards this summer. More information will be released in the summer'
