BIOMECHANICS AND MOVEMENT

For some of us, the way we move can result in pain in some part of the body; this could be in the feet or legs, hips or pelvis, or the back and upper torso. In this case, we would like to move without pain and with greater ease. We offer:

PHYSICAL EXAMINATION & VIDEO ANALYSIS

This is a hands-on examination of the quality and range of movement of important joints in feet, ankles, knees, and hips which affect movement. In particular, we like to identify any restrictions in movement which can inform treatment options. We then make a 2-way video of walking and, for sportsmen, running or cycling. This gives us a record of how you move and helps us to identify restrictions or impairment to movement that again inform our choices of intervention.
