An additional extra care complex provides the independence and security of homeownership, together with access to many caring and communal facilities. Brendoncare Stildon has been specifically designed to enable people in later life to live independent, happy and fulfilling lives. Brendoncare Stildon is a CQC 'Good' rated home with a carehome.co.uk rating of 9.8/10. With multiple communal areas, Brendoncare Stildon is a happy and comfortable home with kind and compassionate staff dedicated improving the lives and well-being of people in later life.

The last couple of days have been full of fun, laughter and great company. From games of dominoes 🀄️ and watching feel-good films like Fisherman’s Friends 🎬 (which naturally led to a bit of sea shanty singing 🎶), to enjoying exciting afternoon teas ☕️ and hosting cheese & wine parties 🧀🍷… there’s certainly been no shortage of smiles.

We’ve also loved celebrating birthdays 🎉🎂 along the way, making everyone feel special and sharing some really lovely moments together. It’s been a joy to see so much laughter, conversation and connection — just the way it should be 💛

🎄✨ Festive fun is in full swing at Stildon — and the week isn’t even over yet! ✨🎄

We’ve kicked off December with a wonderful mix of outings, entertainment and festive cheer, and our residents have loved every moment so far!

🌟 Monday: Stildon hit Haskins!
We enjoyed a lovely trip out to soak up all the Christmas displays, sparkly decorations and gifts. It was the perfect way to start the week. Thank you to Platinum Ambulance Service for supporting the outing and helping everything run smoothly.

🎶 Tuesday: Kiddley Divey brought the fun once again!
Another brilliant session full of music, movement and laughter. These afternoons always leave the home buzzing, and this one was no exception!

🎅 Wednesday: Christmas Bingo!
A lively, laughter-filled afternoon with plenty of festive spirit and friendly competition. The energy was amazing and everyone had a great time.

🍷🎤 And later today…
We’re rounding things off with our Boozy Christmas Singalong — with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options so everyone can join in. Expect big voices, big smiles and all the Christmas classics.

And the best part? We’re only halfway through the week!
There’s still more festive fun to come as we keep counting down to Christmas. Stay tuned — Stildon isn’t slowing down anytime soon! ❤️🎄✨

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to the Christmas Fair on Saturday, there was even a special guest appearance and I don't just mean Santa. Yes, the old met the new when Annie popped in to say hello.

Santa was a huge hit with the young and not so young, he will be sending letters to the children who visited him shortly. He has confirmed that we have all been good this year.

The Song Sisters were amazing and we all loved listening to the children of St Mary's school choir. We all went home feeling festive.

Thank you again, we really do appreciate you taking time out of your weekend to support us.

We’re counting down the hours until our Christmas Fair TOMORROW, 2pm–4pm, and we can’t wait to see you there!

Santa is already on the sleigh and heading straight for our grotto! 🎁
Entry is totally FREE, and if you’d like to meet Santa, there’s just a small charge for a grotto visit. You can walk in or give us a call to book your spot!

Expect festive music, tasty food, warm refreshments, stalls, treats and loads of Christmas cheer from the moment you arrive. Cash and card accepted, so come ready to enjoy yourself!

We see no reason why gunpowder treason

Our residents had a sparkling afternoon celebrating Bonfire Night here at Brendoncare Stildon! 🎇
We kicked things off with a Bonfire Night & Fireworks Quiz, watched a short documentary about the Gunpowder Plot, and then gathered together with hot chocolates piled high with marshmallows (yum! 😋☕🔥) to enjoy the East Grinstead Community Bonfire Fireworks Display from October 18th.

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and “oohs” and “aahs” as the fireworks lit up the screen! ✨
A warm and wonderful afternoon full of good company, sweet treats, and community spirit. ❤️

This morning we enjoyed watching a fascinating David Attenborough documentary 🦦📺 — Parenthood, all about animals living in fresh water. Our residents were absolutely transfixed, amazed by the beautiful wildlife and stunning footage! 🌿🐠

🥋 Later in the day, we kept the energy flowing with seated karate, practicing our blocks and punches 💪✨ There were some brilliant moves — we might have a few future black belts in the making! 🖤👊

🍞 After all that action, we relaxed with homemade bread pudding and a lovely cup of tea or coffee ☕️🫖 while enjoying a great music mash-up of The Carpenters and The Beatles 🎶💛

A perfect Saturday full of interest, movement, and good company here at Brendoncare Stildon!

🌸 Orchid Demonstration at Stildon 🌸

We had a wonderful and educational afternoon with Trevor from Mustard Roots, who gave an incredibly informative orchid demonstration for our residents and team! 🌿

Everyone really enjoyed learning about how to care for these beautiful plants — and we’re now looking forward to potting the orchids around the home to add even more colour and life to our environment. 🌺

A big thank you to Trevor for sharing his knowledge and passion with us. We’re already excited for his next visit on 20th November! 🌼✨
