We have been making the most of the warmth of spring, by spending time outside whenever we can!

The mobile shop here at Charters Court offers residents and their families the opportunity to purchase day to day items from anywhere in the home 🛒🛍️

The shop has a choice of everyday toiletries, sweets, chocolates, crisps, gift bags, slippers, eye masks, batteries, greetings cards, stamps, tissues, socks, notebooks, pens, pencils, denture cleaner and glasses cleaner plus lots more.

After restocking any profit made from the shop will be donated to the residents' fund and used for special treats.

Please ask at reception for details if you do not have an account set up.

Each week, our wellbeing team organise lots of activities which offer something for everyone here at Charters Court.

Last week our residents enjoyed a coffee morning, jigsaws, a church service, family and friends’ visits, quizzes, making flapjacks, board games, a magician, Zumba, a visit from Tracey the Hairdresser, a guitar player plus walks outside on the sunny days!

Residents at Charters Court Care Home in East Grinstead were treated to a lively afternoon of music and entertainment when singer and saxophone player Micheal Lack returned for another popular performance.

A morning of flower arranging is always a firm favourite with our residents 💐

It’s a lovely way to relax, connect with others and get the creative juices flowing.

The stunning arrangements are now on display around the home for everyone to enjoy!

We would like to invite you to our Coffee Morning and Raffle on Wednesday 25th March from 10.30am in aid of St Piers School and College, Lingfield part of Young Epilepsy.

This event is being organised to raise funds to help the 204 children and young people that attend the school with epilepsy, severe learning difficulties, autism, speech, language, and communication needs.

Everyone is welcome to attend, and we would be happy to accept any donations you would like to make for raffle prizes, please feel free to leave them at reception or visit www.stpiers.org.uk to make a direct donation.

We had the pleasure of celebrating a very special lady’s 88th birthday here at Charters Court 🎈🎉🎂

We hope Rita had a fantastic day filled with smiles, laughter and lots of love. It was wonderful to see her enjoying her birthday cake and celebrating with everyone around her!
