🌼🌿 **A Wonderful Open Day at Mill View Care Home!** 🌿🌼

Today, our residents, families, friends, staff & visitors came together for a delightful open day, filled with laughter, camaraderie, and a shared love for gardening. We rolled up our sleeves and spruced up our garden, planting joyful flowers and vibrant greenery that will bring life and color to our home!

It was heartwarming to see everyone getting involved, sharing stories, and enjoying the sunshine as we worked side by side.
Of course we fuelled ourselves with Pimms, scones, sandwiches & strawberries! 🌞

Thank you to all our residents, staff, and volunteers who made this day so special!
Special mention to Rachael’s fiancé Paul who made us new beds & put up bird boxes. Thank you Paul 🙏

✨🎖️We are delighted to announce Mill View has achieved Veteran Friendly Status 🎖️ ✨

This means anyone who has served in the armed forces will benefit from enhanced person centred care and support at Mill View.
The Veteran Friendly Framework aims to better support the practical, emotional & social needs of people who have served in the armed forces. Some of the ways we will be doing this here at Mill View include arranging regular veterans lunches both here and at our sister homes to enable our veterans to share their stories & experiences as well as attending our local Armed Forces Day.

We had a great time together, sharing stories, and, of course plenty of chocolate!
It's moments like these that remind us of the joy of community and connection.

🌼✨ What a beautiful day at Mill View! Yesterday, Jubilee Community Church brought joy and warmth to our residents by holding a heartfelt service right here in our community. The highlight? Giving a lovely bouquet of daffodils to all attending residents.

A huge thank you to Jubilee Community Church for spreading love and positivity! Let’s continue to nurture this wonderful spirit of community. 💛🌷
