The Arvigo Techniques of Mayan Abdominal Therapy AKA Mayan Massage Therapy with Fiona – Jane Morley specialises in focusing on the abdominal area, the vital organs and pelvis alignment. It is gentle non-invasive bodywork that has been passed down through the ages from the ancient Maya civilization to keep the essential organs healthy and well adjusted. Minor soft tissue adjustment to the pelvic area and surrounding organs is preformed and effects occur either during the treatment or a few days later. This treatment is highly beneficial for any disease of the abdominal organs like liver disease, digestive system issues, ibs, colitis, stomach ulcers, reproductive health issues, infertility, urinary tract conditions etc. However every woman can benefit from a treatment as it works deeply on the re alignment of the sacral area and cleanses all the emotional issues held there giving a deep healing. It also is excellent for toning up the muscular tissue and dissipates fatty tissue. Each session works on the upper and lower abdominal areas for about 30-40 minutes and then on the upper and lower back, sacrum and pelvic area for another 40-50 minutes. The bodywork itself takes about 90 minutes. The first initial session is priced at £90 which can last up to 120 mins as it’s a consultation appointment with a disclaimer/health consultation form. All subsequent follow up treatments are priced at £75 lasting 75-90 mins. This highly intensive and profound bodywork therapy works best over a 3-6 month period and benefits are seen typical after the first few treatments and symptoms will start to be significantly reduced by the 3rd treatment. Usually it’s best to set a goal and purpose of the care and time structure to achieve this.
