💗 February is the month of love… but when was the last time you showed some to yourself?
We’re often so busy looking after everyone else that our own bodies get pushed to the bottom of the list. Tight shoulders, constant fatigue, little niggles we “just live with”… sound familiar?
Self-care isn’t selfish — it’s essential.
When you look after your body, you move better, feel better, and have more to give to the people around you.
This month, consider this your reminder to slow down, listen in, and prioritise you

Start with Self-Love This February
From your osteopath Marina at Marina Osteopath Clinic
February is traditionally known as the month of love, but before you rush to show appreciation for everyone else, take a moment to think about you.
How often do you give your own body the same care and attention you offer to others?
Self-love isn’t selfish, it’s essential. When you take time to look after yourself, you have more energy, patience, and joy to give to everyone around you.
How to Show Yourself Some Love This Month
Listen to your body.If you’re feeling tired, tense or sore, don’t ignore it. Rest when you need to, and seek support if something doesn’t feel right.
Move because it feels good.Exercise is about celebrating what your body can do and rejoicing in its ability to move. Choose activities that make you feel strong, flexible and, above all, happy.
Take a break from ‘busyness’.Just five minutes of calm can reset your nervous system. Try deep breathing, stretching, or a quiet walk in nature. Choose to be human BEing and not a human DOing.
Book some time for you.Whether it’s a walk, a good book, or a session with your osteopath, make self-care a non-negotiable.
Osteopathy supports your body’s natural balance and helps ease the physical tension that often builds up from stress and overwork. It’s one of the most powerful ways to invest in your wellbeing, a true act of self-love.
This February, give yourself the same kindness you show to others.Because when you truly take care of yourself, everything else flows more easily.
