Thank you to Niki for her words. šŸ™šŸ»

My clinical experience is that mums do not look after themselves. It’s not intentional. They just pour every ounce of their love and energy into their family.

What helps? Understanding. Expertise. Support and encouragement.

I can tell you with confidence: you can feel so much better than you do. I’ve helped women like Niki and hundreds more to feel healthier than they imagined they could.

Would you like to feel more energised?
Less moody?
Less obsessed with sugar?

How about less PMS, less period pain, less anxiety?

I’ve got you.

Listen I know you’re tired.

I know you can’t imagine finding time for yourself.

But nothing will change unless you make a change and you are too important, too amazing, not to feel your BEST and what better time than the glorious summer to embrace that.

I have space to take on just 2 more clients this month then my books are closed until September.

DM me if you’d like to find out more about working with me. ā¤ļø

Whether it’s in relation to weight loss or energy, I talk to women about protein every day.

Most understand they need it but don’t know how much OR how to get what they need.

Aiming for 25g-30g of protein with each meal (ESPECIALLY) in the morning is honestly a game-changer for most women.

āœ”ļøBetter energy
āœ”ļøBetter mood
āœ”ļøBetter concentration
āœ”ļøLess snacking
āœ”ļøEasier weight loss

Comment PROTEIN30 for your FREE Cheat Sheet.

To make it super easy, I’ve created a Cheat Sheet for what 30g of protein looks like. ā¤ļø

Hi! A big welcome if you’re new to my account. I have a few confessions to make so might as well get them out of the way. I’m a registered nutritional therapist BUT…

šŸ„‘ I eat sugar. There is room for EVERYTHING in a healthy diet. (A good thing because I make the best fudge brownies).

šŸ„‘ I don’t save the water from a tin of chickpeas to make aquafaba anything. I wish I was that kinda woman. But I’m not.

šŸ„‘ I’m not militant about UPFs. Women are busy and they’re doing their best. We don’t need another stick to beat ourselves with. Sometimes UPFs save time. That’s OK.

šŸ„‘I love a good kitchen cheat. When you’re trying to cook for hungry teens baying for dinner, things like microwave rice, frozen chopped shallots and garlic save time. I’m here for that.

šŸ„‘ There’s no such thing as a perfect diet, but there might be a way of eating that’s perfect for you right now.

šŸ„‘I believe optimal health is about so much more than what you eat. ā¤ļø

I wish it wasn’t true but our weight as women feels fundamental to how we feel about ourselves.

And almost every single woman I speak to in her 40s, perimenopausal or not, tells me she wants to lose a little (or a lot) of weight.

It’s SO frustrating, right?

You eat well. You exercise. But the weight won’t shift. Especially around your middle.

Listen, I know why and I’d love to talk about it with you.

I’m running a brand new FREE workshop next Thursday 22nd May at 8.30pm. It’s called The Hormone Code: Unlocking Weight Loss After 40.

If you’d like to lose weight before the summer holidays or any of these sound familiar, join us.

ā“You limit your calories through the week and then eat what you want at the weekends.

ā“You live off coffee until noon thinking it’s saving you calories at breakfast

ā“You are Intermittent Fasting!

Let’s come together and talk about why you’re not losing weight; we’ll dig into the weight loss jabs (whether you’re on them or tempted) AND I’ll give you my insider tips that have helped me lose more than a stone and keep it off.

Poor sleep. Rage. Tiredness. Anxiety. More rage. Just glancing at a mince pie and gaining weight.

Doesn’t make December easier.

So let’s do December a little differently.

With a free event.

I’ll be sharing the ways I support and manage the symptoms of perimenopause for my private clients in a FREE online workshop on Monday 25th November at 8pm - and I’ll be giving it a Christmas twist.

On Zoom, it’ll be totally informal. Come in your PJs, camera on or off, bring your questions and we’ll talk mood, sleep, weight AND my top tips for supporting your winter health šŸ¤’šŸ¤§

I’m coming to this post warily.

Why? Because truthfully I’ve been away from Instagram for ages because I got so sick of all the bu****it I was seeing about health and weight and general perimenopause.

So much crap and misinformation from people with HUGE followings…

It was bringing on the rage so much I had to step away.

Listen, if you feel gorgeous and happy and well that’s all that matters. If you want to embrace peri weight gain and don’t give a sh*t I am so here for that.

AND if you are struggling with how your body is changing and would like to feel better in yourself and about yourself, that’s OK too.

For a long time I’ve been in camp 1 - feel great, don’t care - or so I thought. Then a photo taken at an event and shared online shoved me into camp 2.

I had to be honest with myself about how I’d been feeling about the weight I’ve gained over the last few years.

And I started my own weight loss journey.

I’m still on it! But 12 weeks and a stone down and it’s been really interesting.

And I’ll be supporting weight loss with my peri clients a little differently from now on.

On Monday night I’m running a free zoom session. Very informal. 8pm. Come in your PJs. Camera on or off. I’m going to share what I’ve learned and take your questions.

Drop a ā¤ļø below for your place.

Hi!

I probably talk to women in perimenopause about weight gain more than anything else.

Often it’s just weight around their middle that never used to be there that won’t shift, no matter what they do.

I’ve had my own weight loss journey this summer. Aged 49, I shifted a stone in 8 weeks and feel so much more like myself again.

Weight is such an emotive topic. All that matters is that we are happy in our own skin and feel well and energised each day.

For me, for my health and vibrancy, it was time to shift the focus to healthy weight loss.

I’m sharing what I learned in a workshop this coming Monday night (September 30th) on Zoom. Very informal and free.

W-e-i-g-h-t gain, headaches, mood changes, and low libido are signals from your body that something needs attention. šŸ”ˆ

I recently had the pleasure of being a guest on the Boss Body Podcast with host Sarah Haas, Women’s Weight Release & Body Love Coach, where I shared my insights on understanding the underlying causes of symptoms that can occur in midlife and how to address the root causes.

I shared advice on how to achieve a healthy balance by embracing self-care and other holistic approaches.
If you want to master perimenopause, menopause, and beyond with wisdom and vitality, this episode is a must-listen.

Thanks for having me. ā¤ļø

Food is love.

It is nourishment and colour AND information for our extraordinary bodies.

In perimenopause we have a powerful choice.

To choose whether to look after our body in a different way.

It makes sense if you’re trying to lose weight in perimenopause to eat less and move more. Get stricter.

Except that doesn’t work, does it?

Maybe for a bit. Not for long.

Why? The rules have changed. Our bodies are changing. Think puberty in reverse. We need to work with our hormones not against them.

Join me on Monday May 13th for the first of 3 live & exclusive FREE workshops: The Truth About Weight Loss in Perimenopause.

DM me for your spot or drop a ā¤ļø below.

Knackered doesn’t have to be your normal.

There can be so many reasons you’re exhausted - you may be in perimenopause and trying to manage a long list of symptoms that are sapping your energy; your cycle may be a nightmare for 2 weeks of the month; you may be struggling to eat as well as you want because mum life is just leaning you with zero time for you, or you may have just felt shattered for as long as you can remember.

So we start small.

One change, even a tweak can help.

It doesn’t have to be an all or nothing approach.

And if you’d love to transform how you feel but don’t want to do it alone, get in touch. Let me guide you with bespoke nutritional therapy.

I offer a free 20-minute Zoom call to discuss how nutritional therapy with me could work for you.
