I realise that everyone is different & that what works for one person may not have the same effect on another. With this in mind I look to tailor treatments specifically to each client. I will always work within a client's level of comfort: "No pain, no gain", does not have a place in my treatments. "Good pain" , however, can be very beneficial when using deeper techniques. That said, often light finger pressure on specific points in the correct sequence can be all that is needed to relieve someone of their pain or discomfort - this is where Emmett Technique comes into its own, often providing relief during the first session.
