Sometimes the hardest part to explain is how infertility slowly changes the way you move through your own life.

The coffee is not really about the coffee.

It is about spontaneity.
Freedom.
Pleasure without guilt.
Feeling like yourself again.

So many women do not realise how much of themselves they have placed on hold while trying to conceive.

Save this for the days you miss yourself a little more than usual. You are not alone 🤍

Some grief is loud, and witnessed by others.

Infertility grief often is not.

It hides inside everyday moments.

Inside another period arriving.
Inside a scan result.
Inside the way your body no longer feels fully yours.
Inside becoming so used to saying “I’m fine” that people stop asking if you really are.

And because so much of this grief is invisible, many women start questioning whether they are even allowed to feel it this deeply.

But grief does not only exist after loss that the world can clearly see.

Sometimes grief looks like:

💔the life you thought would have happened by now
💔the version of you you miss
💔the milestones that never came
💔the exhaustion of carrying this for so long

Infertility can take so much more than people realise.

If this post feels familiar, you are not alone. Drop a 🤍 below.

You tell yourself to stop thinking about it.
But your mind keeps going back anyway.

The two week wait doesn’t just test your patience.
It pulls you into your own head.

Every sensation feels like something to decode.
Every thought feels like something you should be able to control.

So you try harder.
You distract.
You reassure yourself.

And for a moment, it works.

Then it starts again.

That back and forth can feel exhausting.
Not because you’re overthinking.
Because you’re holding something that doesn’t have certainty.

And your body has nowhere to put that.

If this is where you are right now, you’re not alone in it.

Comment 2WW and I’ll send you something you can come back to when it starts to feel like too much.

Some decisions stay with you in a way that doesn’t always have words.

Termination for medical reasons is one of them.

Not just because of what happened, but because of everything it held.

The love.
The hope that was there before.
The moment things changed.
And the weight of having to make a decision no one ever expects to face.

It’s not something that fits neatly into conversation.

And it’s not something most people fully understand, even when they try.

So a lot of it gets carried alone.

If today brings any of that back for you, you don’t have to explain it or make sense of it.

You’re allowed to feel it exactly as it is.

And if this is part of your story, I see you.

It’s not that people don’t care.

It’s that they don’t really understand what it feels like to live inside.

So you find yourself choosing your words carefully.
Leaving parts out.
Keeping the heavier thoughts to yourself because they’re harder to explain than they should be.

And over time, you get used to carrying it alone.

Last night reminded me how much shifts when that’s no longer needed.

When you’re in a space where no one is trying to fix it.
No one is offering advice that doesn’t quite land.
No one is looking for you to soften what you’re feeling.

Just women, in it, at different stages.

Sharing honestly.
Listening properly.
Recognising themselves in each other without needing it to be explained.

You could feel the difference.

Not because anything changed on the outside.

But because for a moment, no one was holding it all on their own.

If this is how it’s been feeling for you, please know you don’t have to do it alone.

Sometimes you just need to say it out loud.
To people who don’t reply with “just relax” or “have you tried not thinking about it.”

That’s what Tea & Chat is.

Once a month I open up a free Zoom call for women navigating infertility - all of it.

No agenda.
No pressure.

Just a small group of women who get it, because they’re in it too.

You can share as much or as little as you like. You can sit in silence if you need to. You’ll still leave feeling less alone.

Comment TEA below and I’ll send you the link.

Next one is Wednesday 29th April at 7:30pm. 🍵

I’d love to see you there.

If you’re in the middle of an IVF cycle, or about to start one, this is for you.

Because the emotional side of IVF doesn’t get talked about enough.

The anxiety before every appointment.
The waiting that stretches out forever.
The way you have to hold so much, for so long.

This is a real review from someone who used HELD across a full IVF cycle, including the car ride to her 3rd transfer.

She called it a companion through the chaos.

That’s exactly what it’s designed to be.
HELD is a library of short guided recordings, one for every stage of your cycle. So whenever it gets heavy, you have somewhere to turn.

£39. Lifetime access.

Comment HELD below and I’ll send you the link. 🤍

There’s a name for the grief that infertility carries.

It’s called disenfranchised grief, the kind that doesn’t get a funeral, a card, or a conversation.

The kind that people don’t know how to hold, so they don’t hold it at all. But that doesn’t make it smaller.

The negative test. The period that came. The embryo that didn’t make it. The due date only you were counting down to. The name you’d already chosen in your head.
These are real losses.

And you are allowed to grieve them, even when the world around you doesn’t know what you lost.

Save this if you needed to hear it. 🤍 and follow if you need support.

You don’t have to do this alone.

Your body doesn’t just go through IVF with you.

It holds it.

The waiting.
The uncertainty.
The constant “what ifs” running in the background.

Even when you’re not thinking about it directly there’s still something underneath.

A quiet tension.
A sense of bracing.
Like your body is always slightly preparing for what’s next.

And after a while, you don’t even question it.

It just becomes how you exist.

But that constant holding builds.

And it’s exhausting in a way that’s hard to explain, because nothing is technically “happening” in that moment.

If your body feels like it never really switches off, you’re not the only one sitting in that.

I’ve shared a free recording that helps you soften out of that constant holding
and feel a little more settled in your body again.

You can access it by dropping a ⚓️ below.

When you’re in the middle of an IVF cycle, your nervous system doesn’t get a break.

Every scan, every result, every silence from the clinic, your body is preparing for it before it even arrives.

And that constant state of bracing is exhausting in a way that’s almost impossible to describe.

But here’s something I want you to know.

Safety isn’t something you have to wait for IVF to give you.

It’s not a positive result, or a good call from the clinic, or finally being able to breathe again.

It’s already inside you.
Right now.
Even in this.

It might be something as small as the feeling in one finger, or the softness of your palm. A tiny, quiet part of your body that still feels okay.

That’s your anchor.

And I’ve recorded something to help you find it.

Comment ⚓️ below and I’ll send you the free recording. 🤍

There’s the part people see.

The appointments.
The updates.
The “how are things going?”

And then there’s everything else.

🤯The thinking that doesn’t switch off.
🤯The background weight that never really leaves.
🤯The way your body doesn’t fully settle anymore.

You can be in the middle of a normal day
and still feel like you’re carrying something heavy underneath it.

Not obvious.
Not something you can easily explain.
But always there.

And it gets tiring
holding something this big
without really having anywhere for it to go.

If this feels familiar, please know youre not alone.
