Wow! I am almost speachless!

I know that getting to teach Reiki is a true blessing.
I know that Reiki is an incredibly powerful healing energy
I know that every student that comes through my door has the potential to do great work.

These two though! Oh my gosh! Such power, such great connection to the energy and each other despite only meeting for the first time today.

Every day working with reiki unfolds new gifts and surprises. Thank you Katerina and Jennifer for sharing your personal stories, your beautiful energies and for all of your questions. I know you will both help many others with this skill you are developing. I am excited to see how things unfold and I am already looking forward to welcoming you both back for level 2 in the coming months when the time is right for you.

Hi! How is your day going? What have you been doing?

I was back at EK Collective this morning for a We Love Lanarkshire meeting.

As always, it was great to catch up with Fiona Colbron-Brown and to find out more from Bob and Dougie about how We Love Lanarkshire is growing.

We had a great presentation from Anthony Blake Financial Planning and JAXX Accountancy Scotland who gave us lots of food for thought and some very interesting updates on tax rules! I have a few things to check!

I caught up with several other familiar faces and I'm looking forward to seeing some of them at Magekal Mystekal Market

Next, it was a quick visit upstairs to Calibrate Odoo who host my website and help with my numerous technical issues. Thanks for the green tea! I think some reiki is required now that you are sooooo busy. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Sean and Hamish are worth their weight in gold and patiently answered lots of questions for me...again without making me feel like an idiot.

As I was in the centre, I did some shopping and then enjoyed some music on the radio on my way home. It's ages since I've heard Simple Minds...who remembers them?

So what's next....some time in my peaceful studio in preparation for tomorrow's reiki students.

Let me know what you've been doing, I'd love to get to know you all better.

I'm stepping into the year of the Fire Horse as the Super Hero version of me!

Today marks the Chinese New Year, the year of the fire horse.
It is also a new moon solar eclipse.

I could tell you more about this, but there are many more people who know much more about all of that than I do. I recommend Kirsty Gallagher and Emma Mumford.

One thing I feel very strongly about is this:

Training doesn’t end when the course finishes.

When you train in Reiki with me, you’re not just attending a one-day workshop and then being sent on your way. Ongoing support really matters.

One of the ways I stay connected with my students is through my regular (well… regular-ish 😊) emails.

It gives me great pleasure to congratulate Jane and Laura on the completion of their Reiki Level 1 training today.

These beautiful souls worked perfectly together despite never having met each other before. It never ceases to amaze me how Reiki brings the perfect combination of people together. We discovered many things we had in common as conversation flowed through various topics during lunch and at the end of the day.

The day flew by as the Reiki flowed, growing stronger and stronger as we practiced looking after our auras and deepening our connection to this wonderful energy. These images show Laura and Jane carrying out a Reiki therapy session on each other. I'll share more about the energy practices in another post.

Well done Laura and Jane, I know you are committed to a daily self practice and have lots of ideas about who you will begin to work with, sharing this gift.

Caroline’s Relaxing Reiki

Hi. I’m Caroline. I discovered reiki by chance, or should I say reiki found me? My health had been poor on and off for years. By 2010 I was unable to work for 9 months, 6 of which I spent in bed despite having 4 young children. Fortunately I have a great G.P. and I was eventually diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. (or M.E.) With the right medical guidance I gradually became stronger and after a very long phased return, I managed to work again three days a week. Despite wishing to increase this back to full time I was never able to.

In 2012/13 I attended a group with my two youngest children where they had arranged taster sessions of reiki. I’d never heard of it before and gave it a try. I liked the brief experience and decided to attend a reiki share the next week. After this I was completely pain free for 3 whole days. I had forgotten what that felt like! I found a reiki practitioner and began to have reiki sessions regularly. I felt stronger than I had for a very long time. They say reiki clears anything that isn’t good for you. In July 2013 my marriage ended. Having 4 children and working wasn’t easy but I managed. My reiki practitioner suggested that I learn reiki for myself in order to work on myself and for the benefit of my children. I achieved my Reiki 1 and 2 certificate on 29/2/16 . I began to practice on friends and family with exciting results.

By this time I had made lots of new friends and had met an amazing new partner. My life had transformed. I decided to study for my reiki masters. That was an incredible experience and I achieved y Reiki Master/ Teacher qualification in September 2018.

I love working with reiki energy and feel highly privileged to be able to bring some calmness into the lives of others. My dream is to give up my original job as a primary teacher ( I graduated in 1994.) and have reiki as my full time job. I also love crystals and intend to qualify as a Crystal Healer, (when the kids give me a minute!) Keep an eye on the events for details of crystal workshops I host and reiki training days or pm me to book in for some reiki. I honestly believe it has to be experienced to be understood!
