The Surgery is experiencing high demand at the moment.

If you have a non-urgent problem you can pre-book a routine appointment to see any of the GPs, or our Advanced Nurse Practitioner. Appointments are usually available within 1-2 weeks, sometimes a bit longer if you wish to see a specific GP.

If the GP has asked you to come back and see them in a number of weeks please make sure you book this in advance.

If you feel your problem cannot wait 1-2 weeks then we do have appointments available for on the day everyday Mon-Fri for the GPs and Advanced Nurse Practitioner. Monday mornings are always particularly busy. You can call at 8am any morning for an on the day appointment.

We always have some appointments for medical emergencies for issues that need to be dealt with urgently. The reception staff will ask you about your symptoms and may consult with a GP before offering you an emergency appointment.

Due to a significant rise in flu cases over the past couple of weeks we would be grateful if patients coming in to the practice with coughs, colds, or respiratory symptoms could please wear a mask. We can give you one at the reception desk if required. Please also use the hand sanitiser before and after using the self check in screen. Thank you.

Today we celebrate Ann our Senior Receptionist who has achieved an amazing 40 years service today for the NHS at East Linton Surgery. Ann started at East Linton Surgery on 29th July 1985 at the age of 19 alongside her mum, who worked at the Surgery for 38.5 years! Thank you Ann for your dedication to the Surgery and your hard work for the NHS. A huge Congratulations on this fantastic achievement! You are very much appreciated and loved by us all!

We have had a few cars appearing in our carpark over the past week or so that are clearly not people attending the Surgery. Our car park is very limited. Please do not park in our carpark unless you have an appointment to allow our patients that need to be seen access to the Surgery.
