The opposite of fear
is TRUST πŸ’œ

I had a wonderful conversation with a client today around this.

πŸ’œ What can you do to cultivate more trust in your body?

πŸ’œ More trust in your body's innate capacity to heal?

πŸ’œ More trust in yourself?

πŸ’œ More trust in life... that everything is going to be ok?

πŸ’œ Whatever happens in your life - can you trust that it is meant to happen for you?

πŸ’œ To take you closer to where you are meant to be?

πŸ’œ And to take you a little further away from fear?

Lean in. Learn to practice trust πŸ’œβœ¨οΈπŸͺ

Take time to connect with nature to regulate your nervous system and make space for savouring moments to allow joy. Connecting with nature may be a hike in the hills, looking out the window or visualising a scene in your mind. However your connection looks today, take time to savour the details, the different shades of colour, the smells, the feeling on your skin, give time to follow a pattern or a sound. Today I especially appreciated the sound and vibrations of the flowing water. Partly from the river and partly from the drool that slapped across my face for the ridiculous, windy selfie. Don't forget, you're allowed to be silly too.

I am extremely passionate about combining human and environmental health and today was a wonderful opportunity to volunteer with and with the Restoration Forth seagrass project. Here is a snippet of information and more can be found on their pages:
'There are approximately 60 species of seagrass found around the globe, however, in the UK there are two recognised species of seagrass; eelgrass (Zostera marina) and dwarf eelgrass (Zostera noltii). These unassuming species are responsible for a number of β€˜ecosystem services’; which are the direct and indirect contributions of ecosystems to human wellbeing, that impact on our survival and quality of life. The ecosystem services provisioned by seagrass include but are not exclusive to; sequestering carbon dioxide, improving water quality, preventing coastal erosion and providing habitat to a range of species. Seagrass’s ability to trap and store carbon in the sediments that they create has been identified as one of the many solutions to combating climate change.'

πŸ“’ Research News! πŸ“’

A study titled "Effectiveness of Deep Tissue Massage Therapy, and Supervised Strengthening and Stretching Exercises for Subacute or Persistent Disabling Neck Pain: The Stockholm Neck (STONE) Randomized Controlled Trial" shows that combining deep tissue massage with supervised exercises offers superior results for managing persistent neck pain. This integrated approach offered a short term pain reduction and a more favourable perceived short and long term recovery. 🌟πŸ’ͺ
