A weekend of contrasts and connection.

At Meon Springs, we held space for the Mindset Shift workshop — a chance to explore clarity and new perspectives together.

At Tulip & Basil’s retreat, I shared a yoga flow for women’s pelvic health. It was grounding, gentle, and a reminder of how powerful simple awareness can be.

Two settings, one thread: learning alongside others and noticing the shifts that happen when body and mind come into alignment.

🤍 Holding Space for Grief 🤍

I’ve been learning what it means to hold space for grief.

My grandad passed away last Wednesday, after two years of caring for him through dementia. There’s relief in knowing his struggle is over — a gentle exhale after such a long, tender journey. But alongside that relief is a deep sadness, a quiet missing that seems to live in the spaces he once filled.

I’ve let myself really feel it — breathing through the waves, allowing both the ache and the peace to exist together. Not trying to fix or rise above it, just being with it.

Yoga, for me, isn’t something I do to escape the pain. It’s how I stay with what’s here — the breath that steadies, the awareness that softens, the stillness that holds me when words can’t.

I’m also holding space for my children’s grief — watching them find their own ways to love and remember him. Guiding them gently toward what it means to feel fully and openly.

And today, gratitude sits alongside it all.
For the incredible people who loved and held us, for the carers who showed up exactly when we needed them most — who helped care for him with patience and tenderness, who carried us too. Their love and compassion will stay with me always.

Relief, sadness, gratitude, love — all of it belongs.

This is grief.
This is love.
This is life.
This is yoga. 🤍

🍂 Clearing Space, Inviting Stillness 🍂

Today the studio breathes — bolsters drying in the crisp autumn air, the rosemary visited by tiny beetles, herbs replanted and refreshed. 🌿

Autumn invites us to let go — of clutter, of tension, of what no longer serves.

In yoga, this is aparigraha — the gentle art of release.

Each exhale, a soft surrender.

Each twist, a quiet clearing.

Each pause, a promise of rest to come.

May we move through this turning season with gratitude — grounded, spacious, and open to what’s next. 🍁

✨ The Yoga of Breastfeeding ✨

8.5 years. That’s how much of my life so far has been devoted to nourishing, soothing, and holding my three babies at my breast — and I’m still on this path.

Breastfeeding, for me, is yoga.

🧘‍♀️ Breath – It begins with the exhale, birthing my babies then softening into the everyday moments, our bodies finding their rhythm together.

🧘‍♀️ Asana – The countless positions we’ve moved through, from sleepy night feeds to acrobatics of toddler nursing. My body reshaped itself in service of love and connection.

🧘‍♀️ Meditation – Hours upon hours of stillness, where time dissolved and I learned to rest inside presence.

🧘‍♀️ Surrender – The letting go of control, of timelines, of “shoulds.” Trusting my body, my babies' and the mysterious wisdom that flows between us.

Like yoga, it has asked for patience, flexibility, and devotion. It has expanded me in places I didn’t know needed expanding — my body, yes, but more so my mind and heart.

And just like yoga, breastfeeding is only one path. Every parent finds their own practice, their own way of nourishing. Whether through bottles, pumping, formula, chestfeeding, donor milk — each way is an act of love.

This is simply mine. A practice that has broken me open and put me back together, again and again.

Here’s to the many yogas of parenthood. The postures of love. The breathing through the hard moments. The surrender to what is. The endless return to presence. 🌿💫

🕊️ A breath to bring you home

Close your eyes.
Let the outer world soften.

Inhale — slow and full.
Exhale — soft and steady.
Feel the breath move through you
like a wave returning to shore.

You are not here to strive.
You are not here to perform.
You are here to be.

This moment is enough.
You are enough.
