The surgery is gradually recovering from the recent IT issues that affected our electronic patient record system. These problems are part of a global IT outage and has impacted many aspects of our services, including (but not limited to):

Appointment scheduling
Prescription processing
Online form submissions
Patient communications
We appreciate your patience as we work to restore full functionality and catch up on the backlog caused by this disruption. The surgery has implemented measures to manage the disruption, but we, along with many GP surgeries and pharmacies across the country have been affected, as well as other NHS services such as walk in centres.

Communication between different healthcare providers has also been disrupted, potentially causing delays in referrals or information sharing. Our team is working to address the backlog and ensure all patient needs are met. We kindly ask for your continued understanding during this time.

If you have an urgent medical concern, please don't hesitate to contact us. However, if your issue is non-urgent, we would greatly appreciate it if you could delay your request for a short while to allow us to focus on the most urgent cases. We want to assure you that patient safety remains our top priority. Thank you for your cooperation and support.

We are committed to providing you with the best possible care and will keep you updated on our progress as our services return to normal.
